CúChulainn Archers Celebrate National Success as Ardee’s Brendan Forde Wins Senior Male Recurve Title
It was another golden weekend for CúChulainn Archers, as members from the Ardee-based club brought home multiple medals from top-tier competitions north and south of the border.
In the County Down competition, hosted by Muckamore Company of Archers, many talented archers from across Ireland arrived for a weekend of high-level competition and camaraderie.
Representing CúChulainn Archers at Muckamore were:
- 🥇 JoAnn Bell, who secured Gold in the Master Women Compound category.
- 🥇 Paul McClelland, who also took Gold in the Master Men Compound division.
Both archers delivered composed, technically strong performances that reflected their experience and consistent form throughout the season.
Meanwhile, in Dublin, Ardee man Brendan Forde represented CúChulainn as a guest competitor at the Campanile Cup 2025, hosted by the Dublin University Archery Club (DUAC) at Trinity Sports Centre.
Forde, competing in the Senior Male Recurve category, shot with precision and confidence — claiming first place and further underlining the growing strength of CúChulainn Archers on the national scene.
Club spokespersons congratulated the trio, saying:
