Louth Business Awards 2024 Shortlist Announced
The shortlist for the highly anticipated Louth Business Awards 2024, sponsored by Dundalk Chamber Skillnet, has been revealed. The winners will be announced at the prestigious Dundalk Chamber of Commerce Annual Gala Dinner on Saturday, 19th October 2024, in the Carrickdale Hotel.
Organisers have confirmed that the event, renowned for being a sell-out each year, will see over 630 guests in attendance. Tickets, priced at €70 plus VAT, include a champagne reception, a four-course meal with wine, and entertainment by the band “Sugartown Rd.”. Local dignitaries, business leaders, and members of the Chamber will gather for this glittering black-tie occasion, which is considered one of the key social events of the year in Dundalk.
The judging panel, led by chairman Mario McBlain, comprises representatives from DkIT, the Regional Development Centre, Local Enterprise Office Louth, and other business and industry leaders. Categories 1 to 6 finalists will undergo a Mystery Shop Campaign by Customer Perceptions, while finalists in categories 7 to 18 will face an interview process with the judging panel.
The winner of the prestigious Overall Business of the Year (Category 19) will be selected from the winners of all other categories. Additionally, the Lifetime Award for Contribution to Louth 2024 will be chosen by the Dundalk Chamber Management team.
