All-Ireland Preliminary Quarter-Final Draw: Louth to Host Cork

All-Ireland Preliminary Quarter-Final Draw: Louth to Host Cork

quarter-final Dublin, Kerry, Armagh, and Donegal have advanced directly to the quarter-final after leading their groups.

In Monday morning’s draw for the All-Ireland preliminary quarter-finals, Mayo will face Derry at home in a standout match-up.

A dramatic last-minute point by Cormac Costello secured Dublin’s top group position on Sunday, relegating Mayo to the preliminary stage. Now, Kevin McStay’s Mayo side must defeat league champions Derry, who recently ended their losing streak with a four-point victory over Westmeath.

Connacht champions Galway, edged out of first place in their group by Armagh on scoring difference, will host Monaghan next weekend. Monaghan clinched their first Championship win by defeating Meath at Kingspan Breffni Park.

Tyrone will play Roscommon at Healy Park after Roscommon revived their campaign with a win over Cavan on Saturday.

Louth, meanwhile, will nominate a home venue for their clash with Cork.

All preliminary quarter-finals are scheduled for next weekend, with dates, times, and venues to be confirmed by the CCCC later today.
