Ardee St. Patrick’s Day Parade a Massive Success as Community Shines
Ardee came alive with colour, music, and celebration as the town’s St. Patrick’s Day parade proved to be a huge success. Local groups, clubs, and businesses put on a spectacular show, delighting the large crowds that lined the streets to take in the festivities.
From vibrant floats to energetic performances, the parade showcased the incredible community spirit that Ardee is known for. Families, friends, and visitors gathered to enjoy the spectacle, waving flags and cheering as the procession made its way through the town.
Local schools, sporting clubs, and cultural groups were well represented, adding to the joyful atmosphere with their creative displays and enthusiastic participation. Businesses also got in on the act, decorating floats and vehicles in a dazzling array of green, white, and gold.
Music filled the air as marching bands and traditional musicians added to the festive feel, while the ever-popular St. Patrick himself made a grand appearance to lead the celebrations.
Organisers hailed the event as one of the best yet, thanking all those who took part and helped make the parade such a fantastic success.
“Year after year, the people of Ardee come together to put on a show to be proud of, and 2025 was no exception,” said one committee member. “It was wonderful to see so many smiling faces enjoying the day.”
