Kate Karpenko from Vision Ireland’s Ardee Store Honoured with the Happy Whisperer Award
Vision Ireland celebrated its inaugural Vision Star Awards last month, shining a spotlight on the invaluable contributions of volunteers from across the country. Among the honourees was Kate Karpenko, a dedicated volunteer at the Vision Ireland store in Ardee, who took home the Happy Whisperer Award for her remarkable ability to spread joy and forge positive connections in the local community.
The Happy Whisperer Award recognises individuals whose warmth, kindness, and genuine engagement uplift the spirits of everyone around them. Kate’s friendly demeanor and heartfelt interactions with both customers and fellow volunteers have made her an irreplaceable presence in the Ardee store.
“I am so thrilled and honoured to receive the Happy Whisperer Award,” Kate shared. “Volunteering at the Ardee store has been an amazing experience, and it’s incredibly rewarding to bring a little happiness into people’s lives.”
