Invitation our TDs and local councillors to Participate in Yes-or-No Public Q&A Session with Ardee & Mid-Louth Residents
By ArdeePost Reporter

A comprehensive, respectful, and clearly worded message has been sent to both our TDs and local councillors. It invites them to take part in a Yes-or-No Q&A session specifically regarding concerns about IPAS Centres and the presence of unvetted and undocumented migrants in the Ardee and mid-Louth area.
Subject: Invitation to Participate in Yes-or-No Public Q&A Session with Ardee & Mid-Louth Residents
Dear Deputies and Councillors,
As representatives elected to serve the people of Ardee, Mid-Louth, and the wider County Louth area, we are writing to formally invite you to take part in a public Yes-or-No Questions and Answers session with local residents. This session is being proposed in response to growing and urgent concerns about the presence of IPAS Centres in our town and the continued arrival of unvetted and undocumented migrants in what is a small, traditionally close-knit community.
There is deep unease among people from all walks of life in our area — not out of hatred or hostility, but from a genuine lack of transparency, consultation, and accountability from both national and local government.
We believe the time has come for our public representatives to engage openly, honestly, and directly with those who elected them.
To that end, we are inviting you to participate in a community-led, respectfully moderated public meeting where the format will consist solely of Yes-or-No answers to pre-submitted, clear questions from residents.
The purpose of this format is simple:
- To eliminate political ambiguity and evasive language
- To rebuild trust between the community and its elected leaders
- To provide straightforward answers to straightforward concerns
This is not intended as a hostile environment. The tone will be civil, the structure will be organised, and the goal is clarity and accountability, not confrontation.
We are asking you to confirm your willingness to attend such a session, which we propose to hold in Ardee in the coming weeks, at a time and venue that accommodates the community and public representatives.
You are the voices of the people in government. It is our firm belief that your presence and participation will be a demonstration of genuine leadership and respect for your constituents.
We look forward to your response and hope you will rise to this challenge.
Kind regards,
On behalf of concerned residents of Ardee, Mid-Louth & Surrounding Areas
