Who to Watch in 2025

Michael Dunlop

 (NI) – 29 TT wins

The undisputed king of the TT, Dunlop is tipped to break the 30-win barrier this year. He’s switching to BMW for Superbike, Senior, and Superstock classes and a Ducati V2 in Supersport — which could mark Ducati’s first TT win since 1995.

Peter Hickman

 (Eng) – 14 TT wins

Now with 8TEN Racing, Hickman still holds the outright lap record at a blistering 136.358mph. Look out for him in Superbike and Superstock, where he’s always a threat.

Davey Todd

 (Eng) – 2 wins

After a breakout year in 2024 — winning the Superstock and Senior — Todd is tipped to challenge for multiple podiums, now partnered with Hickman at 8TEN Racing.

Dean Harrison

 (Eng) – 3 wins

A consistent front-runner, Harrison returns with Honda Racing. With 30 podiums under his belt, another TT win may be within reach.

Others to watch:

  • Josh Brookes, 2-time BSB champ
  • John McGuinness, 23 wins
  • Conor Cummins, local hero
  • Ian Hutchinson, comeback contender
  • Jenny Tinmouth, female lap record holder (119.945mph)
  • Ryan & Callum Crowe, favourites in the Sidecar class

Part danger, part tradition, and all adrenaline — it remains the pinnacle of real-road racing, where the reward is immortality and the risk is total. With its winding lanes, stone walls, and sheer speed, the TT separates the fearless from the rest.

As the 2025 edition prepares to ignite, one thing is certain: the Mountain Course awaits, and legends will rise or fall on its tarmac.
