Joe Ward Cup Winners Secure Favorable Leinster Draws

Louth GAA Champions to Host Key Matches in Football and Hurling Championships

The draws for this year’s Leinster Club Football and Hurling Championships have been confirmed, with the Joe Ward Cup winners receiving advantageous fixtures.

In the Senior Football Championship, the Louth champions will host their Longford counterparts in the first round. Should they advance, they will also enjoy home advantage in the quarter-finals against the Carlow champions. Notably, Kildare and Dublin are set to clash in the quarter-finals, eliminating one of the favorites early on. The first round is scheduled for the weekend of Sunday, November 3rd, with potential midweek matches for dual clubs.

In the Intermediate Football Championship, the Louth champions will play the Dublin champions at home on November 2nd.

In the Junior Football Championship, Louth has a bye to the quarter-finals and will face either Carlow or Offaly away.

In hurling, the Louth Senior winners will compete at home against the European representatives in the Junior Championship on November 9th.
