Louth — A total of €227,247 in government funding has been allocated to 124 community groups and projects across County Louth, as part of the Local Enhancement Programme 2025, it was announced today by Minister for Rural and Community Development Dara Calleary TD and Minister of State Jerry Buttimer TD.
The programme, launched in November 2024, is a key part of the Government’s commitment to supporting grassroots organisations, providing both capital supports and operational funding for community-based initiatives.

From Drogheda to Dundalk, Ardee to Omeath, projects receiving funding include sports clubs, tidy towns groups, men’s and women’s sheds, youth centres, disability organisations, and cultural associations.
