The countdown is on! Louth Volunteer Centre is thrilled to support the call for enthusiastic community volunteers for the Leinster Fleadh 2025. It is set to take place in Louth, in our very own Drogheda over three days this summer on 11th – 13th July 2025. This is your chance to be part of an unforgettable celebration of traditional Irish music, dance, song, and culture – right here in the heart of Ireland’s Ancient East.

The Fleadh is expected to attract over 6,000 visitors, including 2,000+ musicians and competitors, for a weekend packed with concerts, competitions, céilís, lively sessions, Irish language events and vibrant street entertainment. Volunteers will play a vital role in helping us roll out the red carpet for musicians and visitors, both from across Ireland and internationally.

It is with great pride that we welcome the Leinster Fleadh to Drogheda. This prestigious event celebrates Ireland’s rich musical heritage and brings together communities from across the province. We can expect unforgettable performances, camaraderie, and the true spirit of traditional Irish music.

Whether you’re a seasoned volunteer or new to the scene, there’s a role for everyone — from stewarding and stage support to welcoming or directing visitors and helping with family-friendly events. You’ll be at the heart of the action, contributing to the success of a major cultural event while soaking up the electric atmosphere. There will be a Gig-Rig at Scotch Hall, with celebrated acts headlining including All Folk’d Up, Beartla O Flatharta Ceili Band, Goitse and Rapscallion.

This festival is more than music – it’s about community, heritage, and connection. Louth Volunteer Centre is proud to support an event that brings people together and highlights the very best of Irish musical culture and heritage and the famous Irish welcome.

Why not experience one of Ireland’s most vibrant cultural festivals from the inside, meet new people and make lasting memories? No experience needed and training will be provided. Volunteers of all backgrounds are welcome. Volunteer opportunities will include locations in Drogheda town centre and the Ballymakenny Road area of Drogheda.

To register to volunteer at THE event of the summer, simply scan the QR code, call in person to the Louth Volunteer Centre Drogheda Office, Bolton St, A92 DKRO, open Monday-Friday 9am – 5pm, phone us on 041 980 9008 or visit our website www.volunteerlouth.ie

Early sign-up is encouraged, as this is set to be a popular event and to allow time for training and scheduling.

Join us in making the Leinster Fleadh 2025 a celebration to remember, for years to come!
