Ardee News and Sport – Scoil Muire na Trocaire Claims Victory at Ardee Credit Union Schools Quiz
Scoil Muire na Trocaire Ardee emerged victorious in the 2025 Ardee Credit Union Schools Quiz, held yesterday, February 10th, at the Ardee Parish Centre. The event featured a thrilling contest between 29 teams from 15 different schools, with enthusiastic support from families, teachers, and friends.
The competition was divided into two age categories: Under 11 (U’11) and Under 13 (U’13). Under the expert guidance of Quiz Master Conor Thorne, the students showcased their knowledge and quick thinking in a highly competitive atmosphere.
Scoil Muire na Trocaire Ardee secured the top spot in the U’11 competition, while Louth Village claimed victory in the U’13 category. The runners-up were Donore (U’11) and Scoil Muire na Trocaire Ardee (U’13), marking a strong showing for the Ardee-based school across both competitions.
Both Scoil Muire na Trocaire and Louth Village will now move on to represent Ardee Credit Union in the next stage of the National Credit Union Schools Quiz.
