The report, which details allegations from schools across Ireland, has shocked the local community, revealing the extent of the abuse in schools managed by religious orders.

These findings are part of a broader investigation, which identified 308 schools across Ireland where alleged abuses occurred. The report lists 844 alleged abusers affiliated with 42 religious orders, with nearly 2,400 individual allegations of sexual abuse.
The release of this report has sparked widespread outrage and sorrow in the community, with many calling for justice and accountability for the survivors of these horrific acts. County Louth, like other parts of the country, is now grappling with the legacy of these abuses, as the full extent of the allegations comes to light.
