Ardee Store Crowned United in Excellence Store of the Year 2025

Ferdia Homevalue in Ardee, Co. Louth has taken home the most prestigious honour at United Hardware’s 2025 United in Excellence Awards, being named Store of the Year ahead of more than 200 hardware and builders merchant stores nationwide.

The awards ceremony, held at The Galmont Hotel in Galway, brought together over 250 guests including store owners, managers, partners and sponsors from across Ireland. The event marked United Hardware’s 6th annual celebration of outstanding achievement in Irish hardware retailing.

Awards on the night showcased excellence across a range of categories—paint, marketing, garden centres, heating and plumbing, DIY, merchanting, customer service and more. Each store underwent rigorous assessment, including independent mystery shopper audits, ensuring that only the highest standards were recognised.
