Ardee Paramedics Dye Their Hair Pink
Nikki Kelly and Shirley Cahill, two dedicated paramedics with the National Ambulance Service (NAS) based at Ardee Ambulance Station, are taking a bold step to support Breast Cancer Ireland. On August 20th, Shirley and Nikki will be dyeing their hair pink to raise much-needed funds for this vital charity.

Breast Cancer Ireland is focused on promoting education and awareness of breast health among women of all ages, with 23% of women diagnosed with breast cancer being between the ages of 20 and 50. The funds raised by Shirley and Nikki will contribute to this important work, helping to ensure that more women are informed and aware of the importance of regular breast health checks.

In addition to Shirley and Nikki’s efforts, the Garda Tony Golden Memorial Cycle 2024 has also chosen to support Breast Cancer Ireland. This memorial cycle, honoring the memory of Garda Tony Golden, aims to raise significant funds for the charity, and your donation can make a difference.
