There was no shortage of style, glamour, and celebration at Brian Muldoon & Sons in Ardee on Monday evening as Mercy Secondary School Kilbeggan’s Class of 2025 marked their long-awaited debs.

The incident has left both the organisation and local residents feeling anger and disappointment. Volunteers who dedicate countlThe occasion, a milestone for every school leaver, saw students and their guests gather in Kilbeggan earlier in the day, where family, friends, and neighbours turned out to capture the excitement. Cameras clicked as proud parents and friends watched the group pose in their carefully chosen outfits, many reflecting weeks of preparation.

The red-carpet atmosphere created a buzz of anticipation, with elegant gowns, sharp tuxedos, and a splash of individuality on display. From classic black tie to sparkling colours, the evening was as much about fashion as it was about friendship and farewell.

At 5pm sharp, the group boarded their bus and headed east towards Ardee, where Tierney Castle provided the perfect backdrop for a night to remember. Students enjoyed a formal meal before dancing the night away, celebrating the end of their school days and the beginning of an exciting new chapter in their lives.

Speaking at the event, one student said: “It’s the perfect way to celebrate everything we’ve been through together. We’ll always remember this night.”

The debs also gave parents and teachers a chance to reflect on how far the Class of 2025 has come. Many in attendance remarked on the strong friendships built during their school years, friendships which are certain to continue long after graduation.

The night ended with laughter, music, and endless photographs, ensuring memories that will last a lifetime. For the Mercy Kilbeggan Class of 2025, Ardee’s warm welcome was the perfect setting for an unforgettable celebration.
