Dunleer Hosts First Art & Yoga Retreat Weekend
A special new wellness event is coming to Dunleer this Mother’s Day weekend, as The Market House prepares to host its very first Art & Yoga Retreat.
Bringing together movement, creativity and connection, the one-day retreat promises a relaxing and restorative experience in the heart of Mid Louth.
A Unique Collaboration in Dunleer
Local yoga teacher Jenny Coyle Meehan has teamed up with talented local artist Caoimhe O’Dwyer to create a thoughtfully curated day focused on mindfulness, gentle yoga and watercolour art.
The retreat will take place at The Market House in Dunleer, offering participants a welcoming and intimate setting to unwind, switch off and recharge.
Combining yoga practice with guided art sessions, the event is designed to nurture both body and mind while encouraging creativity and meaningful connection with others.
Perfect for Mother’s Day Weekend
Organisers say the timing is intentional, with the retreat falling on Mother’s Day weekend.
It’s being described as:
- A beautiful way to treat yourself if you’re in need of some well-earned TLC
- A thoughtful shared experience for mothers and daughters
- A meaningful alternative gift for someone special
Whether attending solo or with a loved one, the day is designed to leave participants feeling refreshed, inspired and grounded.
Beginners Welcome – Limited Places
This will be a small, intimate retreat, with limited places available to ensure a relaxed and supportive atmosphere.
Importantly, beginners are very welcome — no previous yoga or art experience is required. The sessions will be accessible, guided and suitable for all levels.
How to Book
Anyone interested in securing a place is encouraged to book early, as numbers are limited.
To reserve your spot, contact Jenny Coyle Meehan on 085 822 3004.
With mindfulness, movement, creativity and community at its heart, this first-ever Art & Yoga Retreat at The Market House is set to be a lovely addition to Dunleer’s growing calendar of local events.
