Planned Water Outage in North Drogheda This Wednesday from 9am to 6pm

Uisce Éireann is notifying customers in North Drogheda of a scheduled water outage this Wednesday, July 24th, from 9am to 6pm. This outage is necessary to facilitate essential works on the water network.

Areas potentially affected by reduced water pressure or supply interruptions include Newtownstalaban, Newfoundwell Road, Greenhills, Westcourt, Cord Road, Termon Abbey, Termonfeckin, Baltray, Balfeddock, Beltichburne, Banktown, Ballydonnell, Duffsfarm, Seapoint, An Grianan, Beaulieu, Ganderpark, The Priory, Bridgeview, Mount Sandford, College Rise, Harmony Heights, Newtown Meadows, Aston Village, and surrounding areas.

Sinéad Kennedy of Uisce Éireann assures residents and businesses that all efforts will be made to minimize the impact and swiftly restore water supply post-works. “We understand the impact that outages can have on customers and would like to thank the local community in advance for their patience and cooperation during these essential works,” she said.

Post-works, it may take two to three hours for normal water supply to return as the network replenishes. There could be short-term instances of discolored water as the supply resumes.
