Gardaí investigating the disappearance and suspected murder of six-year-old Kyran Durnin have released new photographs of the child in a renewed effort to gather information. The pictures, taken in June 2022 when Kyran was six, offer a glimpse of the young boy as the search for answers continues.
Kyran, who would now be eight years old, remains at the center of a harrowing investigation that has gripped the nation. Despite extensive inquiries, searches, and public appeals, An Garda Síochána has yet to locate him.
Investigation Updates
As part of their investigation, Gardaí have arrested a man and a woman on suspicion of murder. Additionally, three domestic residences and adjoining lands have been searched as authorities continue their efforts to uncover what happened to the young boy.
The investigation, led by a Senior Investigation Officer (SIO) and based out of an incident room at Drogheda Garda Station, has received widespread support from the public. However, Gardaí emphasize that any new information—regardless of how minor it may seem—could prove critical in solving the case.

In their latest statement, Gardaí reiterated their call for assistance from the public:
“Any information, no matter how insignificant it may seem, will be welcomed by the investigation team. This information will be treated in the strictest confidence.”
