Michael Dunlop Confirmed for Tandragee 100 Treble Challenge

It’s always a highlight of the season when a rider of his stature commits to the event. The record-breaking 36-time Isle of Man TT winner is set to compete in three separate classes over the two-day meeting, continuing his long association with the 5.3-mile course.

This return follows a dominant performance at the Co Armagh event last year, where the Ballymoney man not only secured both Superbike victories but also famously smashed the outright lap record while riding his MD Racing BMW.

A Strong Contender Across Three Classes

This weekend, he’ll be kept busy. Dunlop is entered on his MD Racing BMW and Ducati Supersport machinery, and fans will also see him piloting a Moto3 Honda for the Dungannon-based Burrows Engineering/RK Racing team—a bike he already took to victory earlier this season at the Cookstown 100.

The deal to secure the 37-year-old’s entry was negotiated by Gerard Rice, the event’s dedicated long-time title sponsor. He joins a formidable lineup that includes names like Michael Sweeney, Shaun Anderson, Conor Cummins, Marcus Simpson, Joey Thompson, and Barry Furber.

Looking back at his success here, Dunlop has previously shared how much he enjoys the atmosphere of the Tandragee course, noting it is a place where he always feels truly welcome. Fresh from a brilliant run at the TT, where he added to his legendary tally of class wins, it’s going to be a fascinating weekend to see if he can raise the benchmark once again.
