Lilywhites Announce Anord Mardix as Official Down Syndrome Futsal Sponsor

Dundalk FC has officially welcomed Anord Mardix, a Flex company, as the primary sponsor for the club’s inspiring Down Syndrome (DS) Futsal side.

The partnership marks a significant step forward for the club’s inclusion programmes, which have become a cornerstone of the wider Dundalk FC community. The DS Futsal team provides players with the opportunity to develop their skills, build lifelong friendships, and represent the Lilywhites on and off the pitch.

Investing in Local People

Speaking on the new partnership, Graeme Smith, General Manager of Anord Mardix, emphasized the company’s dedication to the region. “Our partnership reflects Anord Mardix’s long-term commitment to the greater Dundalk community,” Smith stated.

“As our business continues to grow and evolve, investing locally—in people, opportunity, and inclusion—is incredibly important to us. Seeing the impact initiatives like the DS Futsal programme have reinforces why community engagement sits at the heart of what we do.”

“It was a brilliant evening and we’re delighted to be involved.” — Darren Territt and Judy McDonough, Anord Mardix.

A Program That Means a Great Deal

For Dundalk FC, the DS Futsal side is more than just a sports team; it is a vital support network for players and their families. Chief Commercial Officer Nita Whelan expressed her pride in the programme’s growth.

“This is a team and a programme that means a great deal to everyone at Dundalk FC,” Whelan noted. “It is all about giving the players the chance to enjoy football and continue to be an important part of the club. We are delighted that Anord Mardix have chosen to be part of something so special.”

Community & Growth

The DS Futsal squad recently hosted representatives from Anord Mardix at a training session, showcasing the positive and inclusive environment the club has fostered. As Dundalk FC continues to expand its community outreach, the backing of local industry leaders like Anord Mardix ensures the sustainability of these life-changing programmes.

The partnership highlights the growing synergy between local enterprise and Ardee/Dundalk’s sporting institutions.
