The dedicated committee members behind SAFE Castlebellingham enjoyed a thoroughly well-deserved moment of recognition recently at the annual Network Ireland Awards. The local group was deeply honoured to be selected as the official event charity for the high-profile awards gala. It provided a brilliant platform for the team to proudly represent our parish, raise vital funds, and lift the profile of the incredibly important mental health and community services they look after throughout the year.

Organisers extended a massive, heartfelt thank you to the Network Ireland team for choosing SAFE and for helping to shine a bright light on the absolute importance of looking out for neighbours who might be quietly struggling. The committee noted that every single opportunity to stand up and speak about their work helps drive home their core, lifelong mission: ensuring that absolutely nobody in the local area has to face life’s heavy challenges entirely by themselves. They also shared a huge well done to all the inspiring nominees and winners who took home silverware on the night.
