Linda was chosen as one of just 18 finalists from across the country, recognized for her unwavering commitment and the high standards she maintains in her daily work. Surrounded by family, friends, and colleagues in the storied halls of GAA headquarters, she was celebrated for her role in helping local residents maintain their dignity and independence at home.

“Being named Regional Carer of the year for Louth is something I never expected. To be able to bring some comfort and joy to clients in their own homes is a privilege for me. This recognition reminds me that caring matters—showing up, even on the hardest days, matters.” — Linda Levins

A Hub of Compassion in Ardee

Comfort Keepers Ireland, which operates a key hub in Ardee and employs 300 people across the Northeast, was also named the Business All-Star, All-Ireland Champion Home Care Company for the third consecutive year. CEO Collette Gleeson described Linda as an “excellent ambassador” for the service, noting that her genuine passion reflects the power of tailored, compassionate care.

The event also highlighted the company’s new role as the Official Community Impact Partner of the GAA. Comfort Keepers Ambassador and Kerry legend Pat Spillane was on hand to congratulate the finalists, referring to them as the “all-stars of care” who provide a vital lifeline to GAA supporters and their families across Ireland.

Community Connections

Linda’s achievement comes during a busy season for Ardee, following the fundraising success of the Aclint Drama Group and the return of the Dee Hub Walking Group. Her recognition reinforces the town’s reputation for fostering “great talent” and deep social connections.

In addition to celebrating individual excellence, Comfort Keepers confirmed its support for the FTD Brothers in their challenge to complete 32 marathons in 32 days, raising vital funds for Alzheimer’s and dementia support—a cause close to the hearts of many in the Ardee caring community.
