Taking the Plunge: Local Duo to Skydive for Ardee Day Care Centre

This summer, the skies over Ardee will witness a daring feat for a very worthy cause. On July 18th, Trina Mullins and Eileen Dooley will take part in a sponsored skydive to raise much-needed funds for the Ardee Day Care Centre.

The fundraiser is a double celebration; not only does it support an essential local service, but it also honours Florrie O’Flynn, a former director of the centre, who celebrates her landmark 90th birthday this year. Florrie’s legacy of care and dedication to Ardee’s older generation remains a cornerstone of the community.

Every Cent Counts

In an incredible gesture of generosity, Trina and Eileen are covering the entire cost of the skydive themselves. This ensures that 100% of every donation made will go directly into the Ardee Day Care Centre’s frontline services.

The centre provides vital support for older people in our community, offering:

  • Companionship: Reducing social isolation through daily interaction.
  • Nutrition: Providing healthy, hot meals in a social setting.
  • Safe Environment: A welcoming space that supports independent living.
  • Legacy of Care: Continuing the work championed by leaders like Florrie O’Flynn.
“By supporting this leap, you are helping Ardee Day Care Centre continue to provide a connection for those who rely on it most.”

How You Can Help

No donation is too small. Whether it’s the price of a cup of coffee or a larger contribution, your support helps maintain this lifeline for Ardee’s seniors.
