John (Johnny) Callaghan
Grangebellew, Co. Louth / Ardee, Co. Louth
John (Johnny) Callaghan, of Meadow View, Grangebellew and formerly of McCreanor’s Tce., Ardee, passed away peacefully at his residence on April 29th, 2026.

Predeceased by his parents, brothers, sister, nephews, and nieces. Johnny will be sadly missed and fondly remembered by his niece Sharon, grandnieces Ciara and Louise, his relatives, friends, and his newfound friends and family in Meadow View and Ardee Daycare Centre. He brought laughter and great joy to those who knew him with his wit, love of Ardee, and passion for photography.

Funeral Details:
Reposing at Tenanty’s Funeral Home, Market Square, Ardee (A92 N977) on Thursday from 4pm to 8pm. Removal from his residence on Friday morning at 9:30am, arriving at the Church of the Nativity of Our Lady, Ardee, for Funeral Mass at 10am, followed by burial in Ballapousta Cemetery.

Margaret (Maggie) McCabe (née Woods)
Collon, Co. Louth / Slane, Co. Meath
Margaret (Maggie) McCabe (née Woods), of Mooretown, Collon and formerly of Mooretown, Slane, passed away peacefully on April 29th, 2026, in the wonderful care of the staff at Moorehall Lodge, Ardee.

Predeceased by her husband Patrick and her brothers and sisters. Maggie will be sadly missed and fondly remembered by her children, grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and her extended family, neighbours, and friends.

Funeral Details:
Reposing at Watters Funeral Home, Collon, on Thursday from 5pm until 8pm. Funeral Mass on Friday morning at 11am in the Church of Mary Immaculate, Collon, followed by burial in the New Cemetery, Collon.

Angela Dunne (née Heeney)
Drogheda, Co. Louth
Angela Dunne (née Heeney), of Pearse Park, Drogheda, passed away peacefully on April 28th, 2026, surrounded by her loving family at Our Lady of Lourdes Hospital.

Beloved wife of the late Michael. Angela will be sadly missed and fondly remembered by her children, grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and her extended family, neighbours, and friends.

Funeral Details:
Reposing at Townley’s Funeral Home, Crosslanes, on Thursday from 5pm until 7pm. Funeral Mass on Friday morning at 11:30am in Our Lady of Lourdes Church, followed by burial in St. Peter’s Cemetery.

The family requests consideration for residents when parking near the funeral home.

Reposing at McGeoughs Funeral Home, Jocelyn Street, on Thursday from 4pm until 7pm. Removal on Friday morning at 10:40am, walking to St. Patrick’s Cathedral for Requiem Mass at 11am, followed by burial in St. Patrick’s Cemetery.

Predeceased by her parents and siblings. Roisin will be sadly missed and fondly remembered by her husband, children, grandchildren, and her extended family and friends.

Reposing at her residence on Thursday from 2pm until 8pm. Removal on Friday morning to St. Michael’s Church, Carlingford, for Funeral Mass at 11am, followed by burial in the adjoining cemetery.
