The death has occurred of
Jacqui Millar
Farndreg Estate, Dundalk, Co. Louth
Jacqui Millar, of Farndreg Estate, Dundalk, passed away peacefully in the tender care of the staff at St. Francis Hospice, Dublin, on Sunday, July 5th, 2026, surrounded by the love of her family and friends.
The dearly loved daughter of Maureen (née Toner) and cherished sister of Paul, Jacqui will be forever loved and missed by her heartbroken mother, brother, her adored nephews Stafan, Darryl, Brandon, and Jacob; her great-nephews Christopher and Tobias; her aunts Muriel, Barbara, Annette, and Alice; her uncle Gerard; her best friend Janice and her family; and by her cousins, extended family, neighbours, and many wonderful friends.
Funeral Details:
Reposing at her home, Farndreg, on both Monday, July 6th, and Tuesday, July 7th, from 12:00 noon.
Removal will take place on Wednesday morning, July 8th, at 10:40am, driving to St. Joseph’s Church, Castletown, Fatima (A91 EK77), arriving for Funeral Mass at 11:00am, followed by burial in the adjoining cemetery.
Please note: The house is private on Wednesday morning.

Gyles Quay, Dundalk, Co. Louth (A91 YR23)
Gretta O’Doherty passed away on Sunday, July 5th, 2026, in her 101st year, peacefully at her home surrounded by her loving family.
Beloved daughter of the late Margaret and John, Gretta was predeceased by her siblings Anne Downey, Mary D’Arcy, Rosalyn Lennon, Josephine Campbell, Sean O’Doherty, Philomena Mills, and Carmel McKevitt. She will be sadly missed by her sister Bernadette Clarke, sister-in-law Margaret O’Doherty, her many nephews, nieces, grand-nephews, grand-nieces, extended family, her kind carer Geraldine Gallagher, neighbours, and many friends.
Funeral Details:
Gretta will repose at her home (A91 YR23) from 7:00pm on Sunday, July 5th, and from 2:00pm on both Monday and Tuesday.
Removal will take place on Tuesday evening, July 7th, at 6:45pm to St. Mary’s Church, Lordship, arriving for evening prayers at 7:00pm. Funeral Mass will be held on Wednesday, July 8th, at 11:00am, followed by burial in Lordship Cemetery.

Daniel Murray, of Shortstone, Hackballscross, Co. Louth, passed away at Our Lady of Lourdes Hospital, Drogheda, on July 4th, 2026, surrounded by the love and support of his family.
Predeceased by his parents James Gerard and Susan, and his brothers Henry, Pat, and Kevin, Daniel was the beloved husband of Maureen (née Connolly); father to Jim, Harry, Bernadette Murphy, and Eric; cherished granda to Kevin and Grainne; and great-granda to Oisin. He will be sadly missed by his wife, children, son-in-law Thomas Murphy, grandchildren, great-grandchild, his siblings Gerry, Patricia Kiernan, Susan Murphy, and John, as well as his sisters-in-law, brothers-in-law, nephews, nieces, and extended family.

Funeral Mass will take place on Tuesday morning, July 7th, at 11:00am in St. Patrick’s Church, Crossmaglen, followed by burial in the adjoining cemetery.
The family house is strictly private. The family would like to thank St. Peter’s Nursing Home for all their care, and the doctors and nurses at Our Lady of Lourdes Hospital, Drogheda.
