Dundalk Student Nurse Chloe Moran Crowned 2026 Louth Rose
County Louth has its new representative for the upcoming Rose of Tralee International Festival, as 23-year-old student nurse Chloe Moran was officially selected as the 2026 Louth Rose.
Chloe, a Dundalk native, stood out among a strong field of candidates to take the title. Currently a student nurse, she brings both compassion and professionalism to the role, attributes that will serve her well as she embarks on her journey as the 2026 Louth Rose.
A Journey to Tralee
The selection marks the beginning of an exciting chapter for Chloe, who will now go on to represent the county at the world-renowned festival in County Kerry. The Louth Rose selection is a highlight of the local calendar, celebrating the “great talent” and community spirit found across the county.
Celebrating Local Success
Chloe’s achievement adds to a growing list of local successes this May. From Dundalk designer Seán Cotter winning the 2026 Vhi Women’s Mini Marathon medal competition to the resilience shown by Dundalk FC and Drogheda United on the pitch, Louth continues to shine on the national stage.
As we prepare for the North West 200 practice sessions and the Mid-Louth Young Inventors Competition, stories like Chloe’s remind us of the vibrant and diverse talent within our community. Whether in healthcare, sports, or local representation, the “next generation” in Louth is making its mark.
