Blossoms and Benevolence: Corderry Fruit Farm Hosts Charity Family Day
The Redmond family invites the community to step into the stunning orchards of Knockbridge this Sunday for the annual Apple Blossom Walk, raising vital funds for local respite care.
Taking place this Sunday, May 10th, from 11:00 AM to 4:00 PM, Corderry Fruit Farm is opening its gates for a day of family-focused fun. This year, all proceeds will benefit the Maria Goretti Foundation, which provides essential respite care for over 85 children with complex needs across County Louth.

- Pet Friendly: Dogs on leads are very welcome.
- Accessibility: The 3km walk features uneven ground; buggies with bigger wheels are recommended.
Fun for the Whole Family
For the children, the farm will be transformed with a story character trail, farm animals, games, and arts and crafts. Special features include:

Orchard Sights & Sounds
Adults can enjoy the display of vintage machinery, local craft and food stalls, and the scenic 3km walk through the blossoming apple trees. Music will be provided by live performers throughout the day, with refreshments available from The Hungry Heifer, the coffee trailer, and the ice-cream van.
Capture the Moment
Professional photographer Johnni Kha Shoots will be on-site offering family photo sessions at various scenic locations across the farm. These sessions are priced at €100 for 10 digital images, with 10% of the cost going directly to the charity. Early booking is advised via his website.
