Paddy Donnelly
Trim, Co. Meath / Formerly Boyle O’Reilly Terrace, Drogheda, Co. Louth
Paddy Donnelly, of Trim, Co. Meath and formerly of Boyle O’Reilly Terrace, Drogheda, Co. Louth, passed away peacefully on June 13th, 2026, aged 85 years, surrounded by his loving family in the exceptional care of the staff at Care Choice Nursing Home, Trim.
Predeceased by his daughters Lorraine and Michael, and his grandson Kurtis, Paddy was the beloved husband of Elaine. He will be sadly missed and fondly remembered by his heartbroken family.
He is also deeply mourned by his daughter Olivia; his son-in-law Ollie; his cherished grandchildren Lisa, Cathryn, Bonita, Cían, Hannah, Dylan, and Keelin; his son Brendan; his four great-grandchildren; his brother John; as well as Brenda and Pearl, his nephews, nieces, extended family, and many dear friends.
Funeral Details:
Reposing at Townley’s Funeral Home, Crosslanes, Drogheda (A92 XN75) on Thursday evening, June 18th, from 4:00pm until 7:00pm. Those attending the funeral home are kindly asked to park with consideration for nearby residents.
A service to celebrate Paddy’s life will take place on Friday morning, June 19th, at 10:30am in Townley’s Funeral Home, followed by a cremation service in Dardistown Crematorium, Dublin at 1:00pm.
Family flowers only, please. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made, if desired, to a charity of your choice.
