Emma Callan, of Old Swan, Liverpool and Castletown Road, Dundalk, Co. Louth, passed away after an illness bravely borne in the exceptional care of the staff at the Clatterbridge Cancer Centre, Liverpool.

Predeceased by her beloved mother Maureen, her grandfather Frank, and her uncles Andy and Tommy, Emma will be missed beyond words by her sister Lynsey, partner Robbie, best friend Carol, and her beloved dog Bubs. She leaves behind a broken-hearted circle of family and friends who loved her dearly.

She is also deeply mourned by her aunts Anna, Frances, and Janine; her uncles Paul, Thomas, and Raymond; her cousins Niamh, Brian, Johnny, Tara, Fianna, Mandy, Owen, Raymond, Vanessa, Megan, Janeen, and Hope; Lynsey’s partner Andrew; her nephews Senan and Eoin; her nieces Ellie and Lila; Robbie’s parents Ann and Jim and his sister Susan; her Liverpool mam and dad Pauline and Mike; her close Liverpool friends Sam, Rachel, Paul, Chris, Erin, Sarah, and Hayley; and family friends Lynn, Davey, and Kevin.

Funeral Details:
Cremation service will take place at Springwood Crematorium, Allerton, Liverpool (L25 7UN) on Tuesday, June 30th, 2026, at 3:00pm.

A Celebration of Life service will be held back home in the Eternity Room of Quinn’s Funeral Homes, Dundalk (entrance on Castletown Road) on Saturday, July 4th, 2026, at 3:00pm. The Dundalk service can be viewed live online via the funeral home webcam link. Enquiries to Quinn’s Funeral Homes.

In celebration of Emma’s life, attendees are kindly asked to wear colourful clothes to both services. Family flowers only, please. In lieu of flowers, donations in Emma’s memory would be greatly appreciated to the Clatterbridge Cancer Centre via their dedicated memory giving link.

Niall Gillespie, of Rockfield, Ardee, Co. Louth, passed away suddenly but peacefully.

Predeceased by his parents Joe and Phyllis, Niall was the beloved father of Jayden and husband of Anna. He will be deeply missed and forever remembered by his heartbroken family.

He is also sadly missed and lovingly mourned by his step-sons Marc and Marcos; his brothers and sisters Jacqueline (Enniskillen), Florence (Ardee), Sharon (Luton), Joe (Navan), Gary (Ardee), Derek (Drumcondrath), Finbarr (Ardee), Trudy (Ardee), Billy (Drumcondrath), Darren (Ardee), and his twin sister Felicity (Ardee); as well as his sisters-in-law, brothers-in-law, aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, relatives, neighbours, and friends.

Moorehall Lodge, Ardee, Co. Louth
Seán McCreanor, of Moorehall Lodge, Ardee, Co. Louth, passed away peacefully, surrounded by his loving family, on June 16th, 2026.

Predeceased by his parents David and Ellen McCreanor, his brother Joe, and his sister Una, Seán will be sadly missed and fondly remembered by his loving wife June, his sons Simon and Daniel, and his cherished grandsons Charlie and Archie. He will be deeply missed by his heartbroken family.

He is also deeply mourned by his brothers Patsy, Kevin, and Brendan; his sisters Geraldine and Helen; as well as his nephews, nieces, extended family, neighbours, and many dear friends.

Funeral Details:
Reposing at the Ardee Funeral Home, Tierney Street, Ardee (A92 TW68) on Thursday, June 18th, from 6:00pm until 8:00pm.

The funeral cortège will leave the Ardee Funeral Home on Friday morning, June 19th, at 9:40am, walking to the Church of the Nativity of Our Lady, Ardee, arriving for Funeral Mass at 10:00am. Burial will take place afterward in Ballapousta Cemetery. Seán’s Funeral Mass can be viewed live online via the parish webcam link.
