Cherrymount, Drogheda, Co. Louth / Formerly of Boyle O’ Reilly, Drogheda
Kitty Maxwell (née McCann), of Cherrymount, Drogheda, Co. Louth, and formerly of Boyle O’ Reilly, Drogheda, passed away peacefully at Our Lady of Lourdes Hospital on June 29th, 2026, surrounded by her loving family.
Predeceased by her parents Christopher and Kathleen and her sister Rea, Kitty was the beloved wife of Liam and loving Mam to Ian and Ciara. She will be very sadly missed by her husband, son, daughter, daughter-in-law Louise, son-in-law Glenn; her cherished grandchildren Thomas, Jack, Evan, Hayley, and Conor; her sister Bridie; brother Paddy; as well as her brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, nephews, nieces, extended family, friends, and neighbours.
Funeral Details:
Reposing at her home on Wednesday, July 1st, from 4:00pm until 7:00pm.
Funeral Mass will take place on Thursday morning, July 2nd, at 11:00am in Holy Family Church, Ballsgrove, which can be viewed live on the YouTube link provided below. Burial will take place afterward in Calvary Cemetery.
Family flowers only, please. Donations, if desired, to the Gary Kelly Cancer Support Centre.

“Ashlinn”, Avenue Road, Dundalk, Co. Louth
Paul Sally, of “Ashlinn”, Avenue Road, Dundalk, passed away peacefully on Monday, June 29th, 2026, on his 90th birthday, while in the tender and devoted care of the staff at Curam Nursing Home, surrounded by the love and support of his family.
Beloved husband of the late May (née Smart), Paul was the dear father of Eamonn and David, and a much-loved granda to Michelle, Ami, Christine, Holly, Lisa, and the late David. He was also a brother to Olive and Anne. He will be fondly remembered and deeply missed by his sons, daughter-in-law Moira, Eamonn’s partner Marion, cousin Dinah, his grandchildren, great-grandchildren, sisters, extended family, neighbours, and friends.
Funeral Details:
Paul will repose at McGeoughs Funeral Home, Jocelyn Street, Dundalk (A91 XW66), on Wednesday, July 1st, from 3:00pm until 7:00pm.
Removal will take place on Thursday morning, July 2nd, to St. Patrick’s Cathedral (A91 T623), arriving for Funeral Mass at 11:00am, followed by burial in St. Patrick’s Cemetery (A91 F598).
