Agnes Coburn (née Murphy), of Legion Avenue, Dundalk, passed away peacefully in her 99th year on Friday, July 3rd, 2026, after being tenderly cared for by the staff of Blackrock Abbey Nursing Home, surrounded by her loving family.
Predeceased by her beloved husband Jim, her parents Joseph and Agnes, her brother Eddie, her sister Rosemary, and her son-in-law Brendan McFadden, Agnes was the loving mother of Úna and James. She will be deeply missed and lovingly remembered by her daughter, son, daughter-in-law Elaine, her cherished grandchildren Aimée and Ben, her sister-in-law Margo, as well as her nephews, nieces, extended family, neighbours, and friends.
Funeral Details:
Reposing at Shevlin’s Funeral Home, Barrack Street (A91 Y3CX), on Sunday, July 5th, from 2:00pm to 8:00pm.
Removal will take place on Monday morning, July 6th, at 10:40am, driving to St. Nicholas’ Church (A91 FK19) via Legion Avenue, arriving for Funeral Mass at 11:00am, followed by burial in St. Patrick’s Cemetery (A91 F598).

Sheila Myles (née Gargan), of Castlemartin Close, Bettystown and late of Howthstown, Drumconrath, Co. Meath, passed away suddenly but peacefully at home.
Beloved wife of the late Desmond and loving mother of Ann, Sheila was predeceased by her parents James and Agnes, her sister Bridget (Weaver), her brother Seamus, and her son Alan. She will be deeply regretted and sadly missed by her daughter Ann, her grandchildren, great-grandchildren, brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, nephews, nieces, extended family, neighbours, and friends.

Reposing at Connor’s Funeral Home, Dunleer (A92 V38H) on Sunday, July 5th, from 4:00pm until 8:00pm.
Removal will take place on Monday morning, July 6th, to The Church of the Holy Cross, Lobinstown, Co. Meath, arriving for Funeral Mass at 10:00am, followed by a Committal Ceremony in Dardistown Crematorium.
