Baking a Difference: Ardee Community School Students Raise Vital Funds for SAFE Castlebellingham
The exceptional community spirit of Mid-Louth’s younger generation was on full display over the week as fifth-year students at Ardee Community School completed a highly successful charity drive for local mental health services.
Organized entirely through the collective effort of the school’s fifth-year cohort and supportive staff members, the team coordinated a bustling campus cake sale. The high-turnout event raised an impressive €200, with all proceeds donated directly to SAFE (Suicide Awareness For Everyone) Castlebellingham.

In recognition of the students’ rigorous hard work, kitchen preparation, and community leadership, Patrice Matthews from SAFE visited the Ardee campus. Matthews had the distinct privilege of formally presenting the organizing group with a Certificate of Appreciation on behalf of the charity.
