Frances Carmel Byrne (née Hulbert), of Athy and formerly of Dublin, Kill, Brownstown, and Drogheda, passed away peacefully on April 13th, 2026, at St. Vincent’s Hospital, Athy.

Predeceased by her husband Christopher, son David, and brother Paddy. Frances is survived by her children Bill, Geraldine, and Colette, her grandchildren, great-grandchildren, sisters Emy, Maura, Betty, and Helen, brother Séan, and her extended family and friends.

Funeral Details:
Reposing at Thompson Funeral Home, Athy, on Thursday from 5pm to 7pm. Removal on Friday morning to St. Bridget’s Church, Kildare Town, for Funeral Mass at 11am, followed by burial in Holy Cross Cemetery, Suncroft.

The death has occurred of Rita (Margaret) McCabe Dromin, Dunleer, Co. Louth. Rita passed away peacefully in her 100th year at Moorehall Lodge Nursing Home, Ardee, surrounded by care and kindness. Predeceased by her parents Thomas and Margaret, her brother Nicholas, sisters May, Teresa and Sheelah Kellett. Sadly missed and deeply regretted by her brother-in-law David, nieces Sinéad, Bríd and Áine, nephews Tomás and Nicholas, extended family, relatives, neighbours and friends. May Rita Rest in Peace
