Mary Black (née Murray)
Drogheda, Co. Louth
Mary Black (née Murray), of O’Raghallaigh Park, Drogheda, passed away peacefully on May 1st, 2026, in the wonderful care of the staff at Sunhill Nursing Home, Termonfeckin.

Beloved wife of the late Michael and mother of the late Michael Jnr. Mary will be sadly missed and fondly remembered by her loving children Derek, Ann, and Paula, sons-in-law, daughter-in-law, her cherished grandchildren and great-grandchildren, and her extended family, neighbours, and friends.

Funeral Details:
Reposing at Townley’s Funeral Home, Crosslanes, on Monday from 5pm until 7pm. Funeral Mass on Tuesday morning at 11:30am in Our Lady of Lourdes Church, followed by burial in St. Peter’s Cemetery.

The family requests consideration for residents when parking near the funeral home.

Gerry Burns
Carlingford, Co. Louth
Gerry Burns, of Dundalk Street, Carlingford, passed away peacefully on May 1st, 2026, in the dedicated care of the staff at Louth County Hospital, surrounded by his loving family.

Gerry will be sadly missed and fondly remembered by his wife, children, grandchildren, brothers, sisters, and his extended circle of family, neighbours, and many friends in the Carlingford community.

Funeral Details:
Reposing at his residence on Sunday from 2pm until 8pm. Removal on Monday morning to St. Michael’s Church, Carlingford, arriving for Funeral Mass at 11am, followed by burial in the adjoining cemetery.
