The death has occurred of
Pauline McGrory (née Carron)
Castlebellingham, Co. Louth
Pauline McGrory (née Carron), of Rose Cottage, Sea Road, Castlebellingham, passed away suddenly but peacefully at home.
The beloved wife of Ian, loving mother of Shane and Ciara, and devoted Nana to Holly and Tommy. Predeceased by her sister Caroline and her parents Theresa and Peter. Pauline will be sadly missed and fondly remembered by her husband, her son and daughter, their partners Saga and Gavin, her grandchildren, brothers Paul and David, mother-in-law Bernadette, sisters-in-law, brother-in-law, extended family, neighbours, and friends.
Funeral Details:
Reposing at her home, Rose Cottage, on Sunday from 4pm until 8pm. Removal on Monday morning, proceeding to Saint Mary’s Church, Kilsaran, arriving for Funeral Mass at 11am, followed by burial in the adjoining cemetery. The Mass can be viewed live via the parish webcam.
House private on Monday morning, please. At the family’s request, those attending the funeral are kindly invited to wear colourful clothing.

Robert (Bob) Sunderland
Dundalk, Co. Louth
Robert (Bob) Sunderland, of Dundalk and formerly of Hebden Bridge, Yorkshire, passed away peacefully on May 22nd, 2026, with his daughter Olivia by his side. He was under the kind care of the staff at Our Lady of Lourdes Hospital, Drogheda, following the wonderful care given by the staff of Cúram Care Home, Fatima, Dundalk.
Beloved husband of the late Mary (Olivia) and loving father of Olivia (Mary) and the late Michael, Bob will be forever loved and very sadly missed by his daughter, her partner Dan, his extended family, neighbours, and friends.
Funeral Details:
Reposing at Dixon’s Funeral Home, Maxwell Row, Bridge Street, Dundalk, on Sunday, May 24th, from 2pm to 5pm. Reposing also on Monday morning, May 25th, at Brian McElroy Funeral Home, Crumlin Village, from 8:30am to 9:15am. A Celebration of Bob’s Life will take place at 10am on Monday in the Victorian Chapel, Mount Jerome, followed by cremation. The service can be viewed live via the Mount Jerome webcam.
Family flowers only, please. Donations, if desired, to the Irish Heart Foundation.

Tony Murphy (Abbey Coaches), of Mountmahon, Abbeyfeale, Co. Limerick and formerly of Ardee, Co. Louth, passed away peacefully on Thursday, May 21st, 2026, at University Hospital Kerry.
Tony will be very sadly missed and fondly remembered by his loving wife Peg, his brother John (Chester, UK), his sister Sr. Bernadette (Borris-in-Ossory), his brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, nephews, nieces, extended family, and a large circle of friends.

Requiem Mass for Tony will be celebrated in The Church of The Assumption, Abbeyfeale, on Monday, May 25th, 2026, at 11am, followed by interment afterwards in Reilig Na Tríonóide, Templeglantine. The Mass can be viewed live via the parish webcam.
