Anta Gatere
Dundalk, Co. Louth
Anta Gatere, of Racecourse Meadows, Racecourse Road, Dundalk, passed away peacefully in the dedicated care of the staff at Our Lady of Lourdes Hospital, Drogheda.

Beloved partner of Mantas, adored mother of Kajus, Natas, and Jasmin, and dear sister of Dace, Anta will be sadly missed and forever remembered by her heartbroken partner, children, sister, extended family, and friends.

Funeral Details:
Reposing in the Eternity Room of Quinn’s Funeral Homes, Dundalk (entrance on Castletown Road), from 3pm until 7pm on Monday, May 25th. A Funeral Ceremony will be celebrated in the Eternity Room on Tuesday morning, May 26th, at 11am, followed by burial in St. Patrick’s Cemetery.

Jim McGee
Ardee, Co. Louth
Jim McGee, of Aclint, Ardee, Co. Louth, passed away peacefully on May 23rd, 2026, at Our Lady of Lourdes Hospital, Drogheda.

Predeceased by his parents Mary and Eugene, his son James, and brothers-in-law John and Dick, Jim will be sadly missed and fondly remembered by his loving wife Geraldine, brothers Patsy and Gerry, sisters Bernadette, Peggy, and Bridie, sisters-in-law, brothers-in-law, nieces, nephews, relatives, neighbours, and many friends.

Funeral Details:
Reposing at Tenanty’s Funeral Home, Market Square, Ardee, on Monday and Tuesday from 2pm until 7pm. Removal will take place on Wednesday morning at 10:15am, proceeding via Aclint to St. Malachy’s Church, Reaghstown, arriving for Funeral Mass at 11am. Burial will take place afterwards in Reaghstown Cemetery.

House strictly private at all times, please. Family flowers only.

Michael (Mick) Ryan
Drogheda, Co. Louth / Greenore, Co. Louth
Michael (Mick) Ryan, of St. Finian’s Park, Drogheda and formerly of Ballagan, Greenore, passed away peacefully on May 22nd, 2026, surrounded by his loving family at the Mater Hospital, Dublin.

Predeceased by his parents Jane and Peter and his brother Noel, Michael was the beloved husband of Dolores and a loving father to Peter, Colm, and Paul. He will be deeply missed and fondly remembered by his wife, sons, daughters-in-law Elizabeth and Eileen, his cherished grandchildren Áine, Orlaith, Ciarán, Maryanne, and Margaret, his sisters Theresa, Yvonne, and Anne, extended family, neighbours, and friends.

Funeral Details:
Reposing at Townley’s Funeral Home, Crosslanes, Drogheda, on Tuesday from 5pm until 7pm. Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Wednesday morning at 11am in Our Lady Star of the Sea Church, Muchgrange, Boher, followed by burial in the adjoining cemetery. The Mass can be viewed live via the parish webcam.

House private at all times, please. Family flowers only; donations, if desired, to the Mater Hospital Foundation. Those attending the funeral home are kindly asked to show consideration for local residents when parking.
