Gerard Kearney, of Rosybrook, Tallanstown, Dundalk, Co. Louth, passed away peacefully at the Louth County Hospital, Dundalk, on June 27th, 2026.
Predeceased by his parents and his brothers and sisters, Gerard will be sadly missed and lovingly remembered by his sister Pattie, his sister-in-law Bernadette, his brother-in-law John, his nephews, nieces, extended family, neighbours, and a wide circle of friends.
Funeral Details:
Reposing at Tenanty’s Funeral Home, Market Square, Ardee (A92 N977) on Tuesday, June 30th, from 4:00pm to 8:00pm.
Removal will take place on Wednesday evening, July 1st, at 5:15pm to Ss. Peter and Paul’s Church, Tallanstown, arriving for Funeral Prayers at 5:45pm.
Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Thursday morning, July 2nd, at 11:00am, followed by cremation in Lakelands Crematorium, Cavan at 2:00pm.
Family flowers only, please. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made, if desired, to Ardee Hospice Homecare.

Caroline Johnston, of White House, White House Cross, Dromiskin, Co. Louth, passed away peacefully on Saturday, June 27th, 2026, surrounded by her loving family.
Predeceased by her mother Bernadette, her father Michael and his wife Adaline, her brother Frank, and recently by her dear sister Renée, Caroline was dearly loved and will be deeply missed by her beloved partner Michele; her much-loved sons Martin and David, and their dad Sean Little; David’s partner Lydia; her siblings Marie, Bill, Patricia, Jim, Martin, Ruth, Nicola, and Barbara; her brothers and sisters-in-law; her nephews and nieces; her close friend Atashia; as well as her extended family and many wonderful friends and neighbours.
