Pauline Margaret Anderson (née McArdle), of Kilburn, London, and formerly of Belfast and Omeath, Co. Louth, passed away peacefully on May 3rd, 2026, surrounded by her loving family.

Pauline will be sadly missed and fondly remembered by her daughters Rosemarie, Michele, Eileen, and Linda, her son Michael, and son-in-law Ian. She is also deeply mourned by all of her grandchildren and great-grandchildren, her sister Mai (London), her brother Billy (Liverpool), her nieces, nephews, extended relatives, and many friends.

Funeral Details:
A Funeral Mass will be celebrated for Pauline on Wednesday morning, June 3rd, at 11:00am in St. Laurence’s Church, Omeath. Burial will take place afterward in the lower cemetery.

Éamon Kirk passed away peacefully on May 26th, 2026, surrounded by his loving family.

The beloved husband of Nuala, loving father to Donnacha, father-in-law to Sofie, and devoted grandfather to Ursula, Éamon will be sadly missed and fondly remembered by his entire family circle and friends.

Funeral Details:
Éamon will repose at O’Kanes Funeral Home (116-118 Donegall Street, BT1 2GX) until removal to his late residence (14 Parkmount Road, BT15 4EQ) on Sunday, May 31st. Visitors are welcome to pay their respects at the family home from 2pm on Sunday and throughout Monday.

Requiem Mass will be celebrated on Tuesday, June 2nd, at 11:30am in St. Patrick’s Church, followed by a committal service at Roselawn Crematorium at 4pm.

Family flowers only, please. Donations in lieu, if desired, can be made to St. Vincent de Paul via O’Kanes Funeral Home.

Predeceased by his beloved wife Fidelma, Val will be very deeply regretted and sadly missed by his sons Edward and Neville, daughters-in-law Trish and Sarah, and his adored grandchildren Grace, Andrew, Simon, Lilly, Clare, Eamon, and Kate. He is also fondly remembered by his sister-in-law Dymphna, brother-in-law Seamus, nephews, nieces, extended family, relatives, neighbors, and friends.

John Hanratty, of Killencoole, Readypenny, Dundalk, passed away peacefully in the dedicated care of the staff at St. Oliver Plunkett Community Unit, Dundalk.

Predeceased by his parents Hugh and Rose, John will be sadly missed and fondly remembered by his sorrowing sisters Ann (McGahon) and Jane (McKinley), his brother Seamus, brothers-in-law James and Seamus, sister-in-law Anne, his nieces, nephews, grandnieces, grandnephews, extended family, neighbours, and friends.

Funeral Details:
Reposing in the Serenity Room of Quinn’s Funeral Homes, Dundalk (entrance on Castletown Road), on Friday, May 29th, from 3pm until 8pm. Removal will take place on Saturday morning, May 30th, proceeding to St. Michael’s Church, Darver, arriving for Funeral Mass at 12 noon, followed by burial in the adjoining cemetery.

The family would like to express their gratitude to the staff of St. Oliver’s for the exceptional care, kindness, and dedication shown to John throughout his years as a resident.

Rosemary (Marie) Orr (née O’Brien), of Ranelagh, Dublin and formerly of Drogheda, Co. Louth, passed away peacefully on May 26th, 2026, surrounded by her loving family in the kind care of the staff at St. James’s Hospital and Glenaulin Nursing Home.

The beloved wife of the late William (Billy) Orr, Rosemary was the much-loved mother of David, Catherine, and Paula, and a devoted grandmother to Zoe, Lisa, Eoin, Michael, Lucy, Will, and Aiden. She will be lovingly remembered and deeply missed by her children, daughter-in-law Gill, sons-in-law Mick and Ira, extended family, neighbours, and friends.

Funeral Details:
Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Saturday morning, May 30th, at 10am in the Church of the Holy Name, Beechwood Avenue, Ranelagh, followed by burial in Kilmashogue Cemetery.
