End of a Decade: No. 3 Wine Bar & Restaurant Announces Final Service This June

After ten unforgettable years serving the community of Collon and beyond, Mother-and-Son team Tina and Wayne have announced that No. 3 Wine Bar & Restaurant will conclude its journey this summer.

The decision comes following a challenging period for Tina, who underwent major spinal surgery at the end of 2025. While the surgery was successful, the physical demands of a high-pressure kitchen and dining room environment have proven too great a risk for her ongoing recovery. After prioritizing their wellbeing, the pair decided that now is the right time to pass on the legacy of No. 3.

📅 Important Dates & Information

  • Final Service: Sunday, 28th June 2026.
  • Gift Cards: Please ensure all outstanding gift cards are used before the final service on June 28th.
  • Bookings: Business continues as usual through May and June. Affected bookings after the closure date will be contacted directly.
  • The Future: Tina and Wayne are looking for a passionate new owner to continue the success of No. 3. Enquiries: info@no3collon.com

A Legacy of Pride and Community

Opening its doors a decade ago, No. 3 quickly became a favorite destination for celebrations and quiet meals alike. Tina and Wayne expressed immense pride in the “great talent” of their staff, past and present, noting the privilege of watching many young team members grow into amazing adults during their time at the restaurant.

“So many of our customers are now people we consider friends,” the duo shared in a heartfelt statement. “We’re incredibly grateful for every celebration shared with us and all the support the local community has shown over the years.”

“We wish Tina, Wayne, and all the staff of No. 3 the very best for the future. Thank you for ten years of wonderful memories in Mid-Louth.”

This news follows a busy weekend for the region, including the Ardee Tidy Towns volunteer call and the return of the Dee Hub Walking Group. While the loss of such a esteemed local business is felt by all, the community of Collon will undoubtedly rally to give Tina and Wayne the send-off they deserve over the coming weeks.
