
Creative Spark: Bookings Open for Annual Kids’ Fashion and Art Summer Camp
Local artist and teacher Caoimhe O’Dwyer has officially opened bookings for her highly anticipated annual “Sew Creative for Kids” Fashion & Art Summer Camp, promising a week of immersive design and making.
Taking place at the Creative Spark hub in Muirhevnamore, this popular camp is designed specifically for children aged 9 to 14 years. It offers a rare opportunity for young creatives to move from concept to creation under expert guidance, mastering technical skills in a supportive environment.

Dates: Monday 27th July – Friday 31st July 2026
Time: 10:00 AM – 1:00 PM Daily
Location: Creative Spark, Muirhevnamore, Dundalk (A91 HF77)
Cost: €150 per child (€50 non-refundable deposit to secure place)
Where Creativity Begins
The curriculum provides students with a comprehensive introduction to the professional world of fashion design. During the week, participants will have the opportunity to:
- Design and sew an original, wearable garment.
- Master the sewing machine, learning essential safety and technical skills.
- Explore Fashion Illustration and custom T-shirt design.
- Develop artistic foundations in sketching and drawing.
- Learn to communicate vision by creating a professional mood board.
