New Free Sports Programme ‘Shared Goals’ to Launch Across Louth

A new initiative aimed at bringing young people together through sport, skills development and personal growth is set to launch across County Louth this April.

The programme, known as Shared Goals, will run over a two-year period and will provide free opportunities for schools, sports clubs and community organisations throughout the county, including Ardee and Mid Louth.

Launch Event in DundalkCo. Louth

The official launch will take place on Wednesday, April 15 at The Fairways Hotel in Dundalk.

Guests are invited to arrive from 6.30pm, with the main event running from 7.00pm to 8.00pm.

The event will feature a live panel discussion with athletes and coaches from a range of sports, along with information on how local schools and clubs can get involved.

The programme aims to bring young people together through sport while promoting inclusion, connection and personal development.

Opportunities for Young People in Louth

Shared Goals is designed to create inclusive opportunities for young people of all backgrounds, helping them to build confidence, develop new skills and engage with their communities.

The initiative is being delivered on behalf of Louth County Council and is supported by the PEACEPLUS programme, managed by the Special EU Programmes Body.
