Uisce Éireann has issued an alert for residents and businesses in Ardee and surrounding areas, advising of potential water supply disruptions due to essential maintenance works scheduled for early May.

The works are part of an ongoing commitment to maintain and improve the water infrastructure in Mid-Louth. While the maintenance has been scheduled during night-time hours to minimize the impact on the local community, consumers may experience low pressure or complete supply outages during the work window.

Important Restoration Advice

Following the completion of the works, supply may take some time to return to normal levels. Uisce Éireann recommends that customers allow approximately **3 to 4 hours** after the estimated restoration time for the supply to fully return to all parts of the network.
