Nancy Farrell (née Garry)
Drogheda, Co. Louth / London
Nancy Farrell (née Garry), formerly of Windmill Road, Drogheda, passed away peacefully on May 11th, 2026, surrounded by care and love at Harts House, London.
The beloved wife of the late Tony Farrell, Nancy was a devoted mother to John, Bernie, Tony, Linda, Michael, and Paul. She was a cherished grandmother and great-grandmother whose kindness and warmth were felt by all who knew her. Nancy will be deeply missed and fondly remembered by her sons, daughters, extended family, relatives, and many friends across Drogheda, London, and beyond.
Funeral Details:
A memorial Mass for Nancy will be offered on Sunday, May 17th, at 11:00am in St. Joseph’s Church, Mell, Drogheda.

Sr. Claire Loughran
Drogheda, Co. Louth / Belfast, Antrim
Sr. Claire Loughran passed away peacefully on May 13th, 2026, at Our Lady’s Care Home, Belfast. She will be deeply missed and fondly remembered by her Mercy Community, her family, and a wide circle of friends.
Predeceased by her parents John and Brigid, her brothers Br. Kevin, Fr. Malachy OSA, Fr. Vincent OSA, and Noel, and her sister Sr. Monica RSM.
Funeral Details:
Her remains were received at Oliver Plunkett Church, Lenadoon, on Wednesday afternoon. She will be removed to St. Mary’s Church, Drogheda, arriving on Thursday, May 14th, at 6:30pm. Requiem Mass will be celebrated on Saturday, May 16th, at 2:00pm, followed by burial in the adjoining cemetery.
Our Lady of Mercy, pray for her.

James (Jim) McQuillan
Drogheda, Co. Louth / Maidstone, Kent
James (Jim) McQuillan, originally of 95 West Street, Drogheda, and late of Maidstone, Kent, passed away peacefully on April 22nd, 2026, aged 86. He died in Maidstone Hospital surrounded by his loving family.
A proud Irishman, Jim was predeceased by his parents and his sisters Therese, Breda, Ann, and Dympna. He will be deeply missed and forever remembered by his wife Peggy, his children James, Edmund, Siobhan, and Andrea, and his five cherished grandchildren. He is also survived by his brothers Peter, Andy, and Dominic, along with numerous nieces, nephews, and a wide circle of friends both in Ireland and England.

The funeral service will take place on Thursday, May 28th, at 10:30am in St. Francis Church, Week Street, Maidstone, Kent, England.
