Gene Gray
Dundalk, Co. Louth
Gene Gray, of Meadow Grove and formerly of Mountain View Crescent, Dundalk, passed away peacefully on May 16th, 2026, surrounded by his loving family at Our Lady of Lourdes Hospital.
Predeceased by his parents John and Anna, his brother Frank, and his sisters Pamela, Mary, and Rene. Gene will be deeply missed and lovingly remembered by his beloved lifelong partner and best friend Bernie, his brother Alan and wife Patricia, brother-in-law Dessie Maguire, sister-in-law Patricia, his nephews, nieces, great-nephews, great-nieces, extended family, neighbours, friends, and fellow Dundalk FC supporters.
Funeral Details:
Reposing at Shevlin’s Funeral Home, Barrack Street, on Monday from 12noon until 8pm. Removal on Tuesday morning at 10:45am, walking to St. Joseph’s Redemptorist Church for Funeral Mass at 11am, followed by burial in St. Patrick’s Cemetery.
