Channonrock, Co. Louth / Crossmaglen, Co. Armagh / Inniskeen, Co. Monaghan
Sarah McKeown (née McEvoy), of Crossmaglen, Co. Armagh and formerly of Channonrock, Co. Louth, passed away peacefully in her 82nd year on May 21st, 2026, surrounded by her cherished family at Daisy Hill Hospital, Newry.
Predeceased by her beloved husband Francis Sr. and her parents Robert and Selina, Sarah will be sadly missed and remembered with love by her family: her son Francis, daughters Danna and Carol, daughter-in-law Gráinne, and son-in-law Joe. She is also deeply mourned by her cherished grandchildren Fiona (and her partner Stephen), Nicole, Aisling, Ryan, Jack, Daniel, Conor, Cillian, and Robyn, her great-grandchildren Millie and Joey, her siblings Maureen, Robert, Lucy, and Richard, and her extended family, neighbours, and friends.
Funeral Details:
Reposing at her son Francis’ residence (Channonrock, Inniskeen Road, Dundalk, A91VN53) on Friday, May 22nd, from 2pm to 9pm. Funeral Mass will take place on Saturday morning, May 23rd, at 11am in Mary Mother of Mercy Church, Inniskeen, followed by burial in St. Mary’s Cemetery.
House private on Saturday morning, please. Family flowers only; donations, if desired, in lieu to Carrickmacross Cancer Care.
