Red Lands, California / Formerly of Dundalk, Co. Louth; Kinnegad, Co. Westmeath; and Athenry, Co. Galway
Frank McLoughlin completed life’s journey on Sunday, July 5th, 2026, peacefully surrounded by his devoted family, following a long illness borne with great dignity and courage.
Frank will be greatly missed by his wife and best friend Mary; his daughter Áine; his sons Adrian and Peter; and his adored grandchildren Stephen, Shannon, Ciara, and Alex. Predeceased by his parents Tony and Kathleen and his siblings Antoinette, Ray, James, Treacy, Teresa, Margaret, Tony, Mark, Rose, and Philomena, Frank is survived by his sister Carmel; his brothers Fr. Luke, Fr. Nick, Michael, Edward, and Pat; as well as his sisters-in-law, brothers-in-law, nieces, nephews, extended family, friends, fellow musicians, and former Galway football colleagues.

Rosarie Cavanagh (née McKeever), in her 89th year, of Richardstown, Dromin and late of Market Street, Ardee, passed away peacefully at Our Lady of Lourdes Hospital, Drogheda, on July 7th, 2026, surrounded by her family.
Beloved wife of Tony and loving mother of Carmel (Dessie), Mark, Louise, Lorraine (Andy), Siobhan (David), and Fergal (Aisling), Rosarie was predeceased by her parents Jamie and Concepta, her sisters Sr. Mary and Anna, and her brothers Fr. Jackie and Raymond (in infancy). She will be deeply regretted by her husband, children, grandchildren Diarmuid (Lucia), Bryana, Pádraig, Callum, Liam, Eve, Paige, Brooklyn, and Joshua; her sisters Pauline, Breda, Carmel, Sr. Angela, Maire, and Lucy; her brothers Br. Raymond, Joseph (Joan), and Gerard (Mary); Louise’s dear friend Noreen; and her many nieces, nephews, relatives, carers, neighbours, and friends.
Funeral Details:
Reposing at her home (A92 NX98) on Wednesday, July 8th, from 4:00pm until 7:00pm.
Removal will take place on Thursday afternoon, July 9th, to Saint Finian’s Church, Dromin, arriving for Funeral Mass at 2:00pm, followed by burial in the adjoining cemetery.
Family flowers only, please. The house is private on Thursday.

Bridie Taaffe (née Finn), of Roestown, Ardee, Co. Louth, and formerly of Edenderry, Co. Offaly, passed away peacefully at her home, surrounded by her loving family, on July 7th, 2026, in her 93rd year.
Predeceased by her beloved husband Paddy, her parents Elizabeth and Laurence, her sisters Ann-Jane, Maggie, and Betty, and her brothers Sean, Laurence, Eddie, Pat Joe, and Michael, Bridie will be sadly missed by her children Pat (Eileen), Valerie (Michael), Mary (Pat), Joan (Peter), and Bryan; her fourteen cherished grandchildren Patrick, Aoife, Cillian, Senan, Cliodhna, Conor, Caelum, Ryan, Marc, Jamie, Katelyn, Aoibheann, Sean, and Declan; her great-granddaughter Ruby; her sisters Philomena and Carmel; and her nieces, nephews, extended family, neighbours, and friends.

Predeceased by his parents Tommy and Ailish and his brother Raymond, Roy will be sadly missed by his loving children Chloe and her partner Garrett, Tammy and her partner Aaron, and Alan and his partner Verity; their mother Debbie; his brothers and sister Barry, Mandy, and Paul; his brother-in-law Pat; his sisters-in-law Geraldine and Sandra; his nephews, nieces; his best friend Peter; and his many relatives and wide circle of friends.
