Michael Quinn

Michael Quinn, in his 79th year, of Strand Road, Annagassan, passed away suddenly.

Beloved husband of the late Pamela and loving father of Adria, Michael will be deeply regretted by his daughter, his grandson Gerard, his dear friend Geraldine O’Reilly, as well as his relatives, neighbours, and friends.

Funeral Details:
Michael will repose at Connor’s Funeral Home, Dunleer (A92 V38H), on Friday, July 10th, from 4:00pm until 8:00pm.

Removal will take place on Saturday morning, July 11th, to Saint Finian’s Church, Dillonstown (A92 X206), arriving for Funeral Mass at 11:00am, followed by burial in Kilsaran Cemetery.

Liam Reilly, of Maple Drive, Drogheda, and formerly of Trinity Gardens and Yellowbatter, passed away peacefully at Beaumont Hospital on July 7th, 2026, surrounded by his loving family.

Predeceased by his parents Molly and Frank and his brother Frank, Liam was the beloved husband of Mary and loving dad to Susan, Liam, Declan, Colm, and Jane, and step-dad to Peter, Seán, and Colm. He will be sadly missed by his children, sons-in-law, daughters-in-law, his cherished grandchildren Matthew, Emily, Jack, Sam, Hannah, TJ, Bob, Lucia, Leo, and Shay, his brothers Paddy, Jimmy, Michael, and Kevin, his sister Mary, his brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, nephews, nieces, relatives, and friends.

Funeral Details:
Reposing at Townley’s Funeral Home, Crosslanes, Drogheda (A92 XN75) on Friday, July 10th, from 4:00pm until 7:00pm. (Please have consideration for residents in nearby houses when parking).

Funeral Mass will take place on Saturday, July 11th, at 11:30am in Our Lady of Lourdes Church, which can be viewed live via the link below, followed by burial in Newtown Cross Lawn Cemetery.

Bridie Connor (née Lambe), of Ard Easmuinn, Dundalk, passed away peacefully on Tuesday, July 7th, 2026, while in the tender and devoted care of her family at home.

Beloved wife of the late Edward (Ned) and cherished mother of Enda (Phaik), Eamonn (Muirinn), Caroline (the late Julian), Briege (Aidan), Geraldine (Eamon), Liam (Tara), Michael (Catherine), and the late Claire, Bridie was a loving granny to Méabh, Eoin, Luke, Aislinn, Ella, Lauren, Maya, Sean, Patrick, Ava, Niall, Eirin, and Rachael, and a great-granny to Tom. She will be deeply missed by her heartbroken family, brothers, sisters, extended family, neighbours, and many friends whose lives were enriched by her kindness, warmth, and gentle presence.

Funeral Details:
Bridie will repose at her home (A91 R9F5) on Thursday, July 9th, from 2:00pm until 8:00pm. (House private at all other times).

Removal will take place on Friday morning, July 10th, to the Church of the Holy Redeemer (A91 WY98), arriving for Funeral Mass at 11:00am, followed by burial in St. Patrick’s Cemetery (A91 F598).

Andrew Nairn (Andy), in his 76th year, of Old Bridge, Toberona, Dundalk, Co. Louth, and formerly of Glasgow, Scotland, passed away peacefully at home on July 5th, 2026, surrounded by his loving family.

Predeceased by his mother Sarah, father Andrew, and brother Michael, Andrew will be greatly missed by his sorrowing wife Diana; his daughter and sons Cathleen, Michael, Andrew, and Anthony; his son-in-law Daniel; his brothers Charles, Gerry, and Paul; his sister Margaret; and by his nieces, nephews, relatives, and a large circle of friends.

Funeral & Memorial Details:
Andrew’s final wish was to donate his body to science in UCD, which has been approved. Consequently, there will be no traditional funeral.

A Memorial Mass will be held in the Church of St. Joseph, Fatima, on Friday, July 10th, at 5:00pm. Please note that there is no livestream service available for this Mass.

Donations, if desired, may be made to the North Louth Hospice.

Martin Naughton passed away on Friday, July 3rd, 2026, while travelling in the United States with his beloved wife, Carmel.

He will be sadly missed by his children Fiona, Neil, and Fergal, their partners, his adored grandchildren, extended family, and his wide circle of friends and colleagues.

A private family funeral (strictly immediate family only) will take place.

A celebration of Martin’s life will be held on Thursday, July 9th, at the Merrion Hotel, from 3:00pm to 6:00pm for family and friends.
