Local Notes – Ardee & Mid Louth
There was plenty happening across Ardee and Mid Louth this past week, from successful community events and club activities to important parish updates and community initiatives. St Patrick’s Day celebrations were a great success, while local clubs, groups and organisations continue to provide fantastic opportunities for people of all ages to get involved. As always, the community spirit across the area remains strong.
What’s On: Ardee Library Announces April Events Schedule
Ardee Library remains at the heart of the community this April, offering a diverse range of interactive workshops, social clubs, and educational sessions for all ages.
From seasonal “Spring Into Storytime” events for children to the ever-popular adult board games and knitting circles, the library provides a welcoming space for learning and connection. Please note that while many events are drop-in, specific sessions require advance booking via 041-6859023.

- eServices Demonstration: Learn how to use the library’s digital suite (e-books, magazines, etc.) on the last Friday of every month from 10:30 AM – 11:30 AM.
- Picture Book Storytime & Colouring: Continues throughout the month. Please contact the library for specific dates and booking.
