Could You Help Inspire the Next Generation at Ardee & District AC?
Ardee & District AC has seen a wonderful surge in the number of juvenile athletes joining our ranks recently. It’s a testament to the hard work already happening at the club, but to keep providing the best possible experience for every child, we need to grow our coaching team.
We’re opening our doors to anyone who might want to get involved—whether you are a current parent, a former athlete, a dedicated volunteer, or someone who has coached in the past. Coaching isn’t just about the sport itself; it’s about giving back, helping kids build confidence, and being a supportive part of their journey.
Getting Started with a Level 1 Course
We know that taking that first step can feel a bit daunting, which is why we are organizing a Level 1 Coaching Course this autumn. It’s designed to be approachable and practical, focusing on the real-world skills you need on the track.
📋 Course Dates for Your Diary
- Weekend 1: 25th & 26th September
- Weekend 2: 9th & 10th October
- Format: Short online sessions (2–3 hours) on Friday evenings, followed by practical, hands-on track sessions on Saturdays.
If you have ever had a passing thought about coaching, now is the ideal time to act on it. Even if you’re only curious or just want a casual chat to see what’s involved, we would love to hear from you. Please reach out to the club or stop one of our coaches for a quick word next time you’re at the track. We’d be delighted to welcome you to the team.
