Drogheda, Co. Louth / Clontarf, Dublin
Carmel Campion (née Woods), of The Drive, Riverbank, Drogheda and formerly of Clontarf, Dublin, passed away peacefully on May 11th, 2026, surrounded by her family at The Louth County Hospital, Dundalk.
Predeceased by her sisters Pauline and Olive, Carmel was the beloved wife of Bernard and a loving mother to Michelle, Edwina, and Ronan. She will be deeply missed and fondly remembered by her husband, children, son-in-law Keith, daughter-in-law Aisling, her seven grandchildren, great-granddaughter Freya, and her extended circle of relatives and friends.
Funeral Details:
Reposing is for family and close friends only. Funeral Mass will take place on Thursday, May 14th, at 11am in the Church of the Assumption, Tullyallen, followed by cremation at 1:30pm in Dardistown Crematorium.
House private, please. Family flowers only; donations, if desired, to the Gary Kelly Cancer Support Centre.

Peter Duffy, of Cuirt na gCloch, Stoneylane and formerly of Sliabh Breagh, Ardee, passed away peacefully on May 11th, 2026, at Our Lady of Lourdes Hospital, Drogheda.
Peter was predeceased by his parents Nan and Mixy, his parents-in-law Joe and Alice, brother-in-law Jim, and nephew Philip. He will be deeply missed and forever loved by his devoted wife Kate, his brothers and sisters Jack, Gerard, Kathy, and Bridie, his brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, and a wide circle of nephews, nieces, relatives, neighbours, and friends.

Reposing at Finlay’s Funeral Home, Tierney Street, Ardee, on Wednesday, May 13th, from 4pm until 8pm. Removal on Thursday morning at 9:45am, walking to the Church of the Nativity of Our Lady, Ardee, for Funeral Mass at 10am, followed by burial in Ballapousta Cemetery.
House private, please. The Funeral Mass can be viewed online via the parish webcam.

Elizabeth (Betty) Healy (née Holt), of St. Finian’s Park, Drogheda, passed away peacefully on May 11th, 2026, while in the exceptional care of the staff at St. Ursula’s Nursing Home.
The beloved wife of the late Tommy, Betty was also predeceased by her sister Anne and brothers Hughie and Liam. She will be deeply missed and fondly remembered by her children Harry, Mark, and Catherine, her cherished grandchildren and great-grandson Noah, and her sisters Dolores, Patsy, and Bernie. She is also survived by her daughter-in-law Olivia, son-in-law Jack, brother-in-law Seamie, sister-in-law Pauline, and an extended circle of nephews, nieces, relatives, and friends.

Peter Maher, of Knockwood, Grangebellew, Dunleer, and formerly of Swords and Finglas, Co. Dublin, passed away peacefully in his 84th year on May 11th, 2026. He died following a brief illness, surrounded by his family in the exceptional care of the staff at Our Lady of Lourdes Hospital, Drogheda.
Beloved husband of Lucy (née Colgan). Peter will be deeply missed and forever loved by his children Lucy, Peter, Bill, Jeni, and Emma Jane, his sons-in-law, daughters-in-law, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren. He is also survived by his brother Joe, brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, and a wide circle of nephews, nieces, relatives, neighbours, and friends. He was predeceased by his parents and his siblings Mag, Bid, and Jack.

Fr. Tom Reynolds C.Ss.R, originally of Kilkenny City and Dundalk, passed away on May 10th, 2026, in Fortaleza, Brazil, following a brief illness.
The son of the late Annie and Superintendent J.H. Reynolds, Fr. Tom was predeceased by his brothers Fr. Mick, Paddy, Seán, and Bro. Harry, and his sisters Eileen, Kathleen, Sr. Maura, and Sr. Rose. He will be deeply missed and fondly remembered by his sister Sr. Bernadette, sister-in-law Elinor, his many nieces, nephews, grand-nieces, grand-nephews, and a wide circle of extended family. He is also mourned by his Redemptorist confrères in both Brazil and Ireland and his many friends.

Alice Keeley (née Byrne), of ‘San Pedro’, Carnalogue, Louth Village and formerly of Ballina, Co. Mayo and Sreenty, Corduff, Co. Monaghan, passed away peacefully on May 10th, 2026. She was under the exceptional care of the staff at Moorehall Lodge Nursing Home, Ardee, at the time of her passing.
Alice was predeceased by her husband Patrick, her parents Owen and Mary-Ann, and several of her brothers and sisters. She will be deeply missed and fondly remembered by her sons John and Joe, daughters-in-law Kate and Alison, and her cherished grandchildren William and Matthew. She is also survived by her sister Irene, brothers Pat and Tom, and a wide circle of extended family, relatives, and friends.
